During my youth, I had some opportunities to visit the track with my father (Bob Lair), although not as frequently as I would have preferred. Life presents many changes, and years later I was fortunate enough to acquire one of the cars he built. Car 305 was among the inaugural vehicles for the North Central Vintage Drag Racing Association (NCVDRA). I purchased 305 in August 2023, and together with my husband, we operated the car intermittently until early 2025, when I assumed primary responsibility.Currently, I am the co-owner of Anderson Oasis Racing alongside my husband and best friend(Aaron Anderson). In 2025, I participated in races for the NDRL, Straight Axle Mafia, and NCVDRA, earning two NCVDRA reaction trophies that year. I intend to compete in a full schedule with the NDRL in 2026 and make select appearances with the NCVDRA.It has been both an honor and a privilege to race head- to-head against my father on two occasions, with each of us claiming a victory. I look forward to further racing opportunities and continuing to pursue excellence on the track.

I've always been passionate about racing, but only in mid-2023 did I finally get my chance to drag race in the 305 car. From the moment I started, I felt comfortable and absolutely loved it. Later that year, we bought a rolling chassis called Short Fuze from the Lipinski family, and my father-in-law spent most of the winter building it and preparing for the 2024 racing season. In August 2024, we fired up the car for the first time and took it out for testing. That same weekend, I earned my first NHRA E.T. license. I raced at three events that year, learned a lot through trial and error, and was fortunate to have an incredible support team ensuring my safety and teaching me the right way to drag race. In 2025, I joined the NDRL Pro Comp Division and competed in six races, finishing eighth in points during my rookie year. Additionally, I participated in five other events and two cackle fests.
In August 2025, the NHRA invited me to display Short Fuze at the Lucas Oil Nationals in Indy—a tremendous honor to showcase our car for a week. We're gearing up for a full schedule in the 2026 racing season and working on building a new car: a 1937 Fiat Fueled Altered with a custom full Fiat body and striking paintwork. I'm planning to run both cars with the NDRL in 2026, with the new car competing in the Pro 7.0 class and Short Fuze in the 8.0 Pro Comp class. Also for 2026 I am the NDRL Pro Comp Director.
Having my wife by my side as she races in the Nostalgia Gasser class with me and the NDRL has been truly wonderful; we make a great team and are enjoying every moment of this journey together. This year, Short Fuze was featured in Gasser World Magazine, adding to its recognition at numerous NHRA events.
